On Wednesday, at Hill Air Force Base in Utah, the Air Force and Boeing celebrated the rollout of the first re-winged A-10 Thunderbolt II. David Butzin, as it turned out, was planning to propose to his girlfriend, Rosaly Aponte. Boeing celebrates first A-10 re-wing. “I was completely caught off guard, but it was a very, very happy moment,” she said. However, at the end of the segment Butzin sprung a surprise when he got down on one knee and asked Aponte to marry him. Butzin’s act was much admired by his co-workers at Robins. She said yes. “I pretty much got mobbed when I came into the office,” he said.

My boyfriend just enlisted in the army - he is 28 and I am 25 years old. We've been together for over 2 years and have talked about marriage, moving, etc. I fully support the join and we know there will be lots of work.

everyone is right on the part girlfriend ..... u have no right unless u are married. I would also add that according to his rank, he will most likely live in the barracks and you'd have to live off post and pay for it on your own.

I have been with my love for 4 years now, he recently joined the Army and I am more than willing to support him and be there for him. We plan on getting married after the first 4 years of him joining are over (he wants to make sure I want the Army Life

Depending on how old you are, it is smart to wait. I am of the opinion that people should not get engaged (or married) until they are about 22 or so, and have known each other for at least a year, and have been dating exclusively for at least a six months.
