Leftenant-Colon, the first black nurse in the Reserve or active-duty Army nurse corps, didn’t expect it to be easy. It wasn’t enough that she became the first Black member of the Regular Army Nurse Corps. As a Reservist, she knew upon joining the U. S. Army in 1945 that there would be hurdles, but her strength in the face of adversity created avenues for generations to follow, in both the Army and the Air Force. “I saw a picture of an Army nurse with her cape,” she said. I really do not know much about it, but I really want. I think being in the Army Nurse Corps, but I need more information about this. I'm in college and I'm not sure what to do, who to go to college?
I do not know if you need to do so through ROTC but I think it would be a good idea because you can earn scholarships. Visit the website of the University of Tennessee ROTC. It seems like a good program.

In 25-30 years as a nurse in the U.S. Army Corps nurse how high a level can you get? Would you be able to become a colonel or general (general would obviously be over 30 but if I had to close then Id stick around.)?
Be advised, it is possible to go all the way to 0-7 (Major General). I personally had a body COL nurse who worked at Walter Reed in Washington DC AMC.
