Kaplan ASVAB 2011 or ASVAB for Dummies?
Dec 17, 2010 by For The Maroon | Posted in Military
I took the ASVAB twice while I was in high school. The first time (in 11th grade), I received a 66. The second time (in 12th grade), I received a 77. This was without any preparation, so I could just miss my first two period with an excuse. I'm in college
Why not both? But if you did have to decide I'd suggest ASVAB For Dummies. Heard a lot of great things from people who have used this guide.

Free study guides for SAT, ASVAB, real estate license from Peterson's
by Chris Walters
The SAT titles are sample chapters only, which is where Peterson’s fails when compared to what Kaplan offered. Something must be working with Kaplan’s free study guide giveaway, because the company has run that promotion twice in less than a year. Not to be outdone–well, okay, slightly outdone based on both quantity and offering–college search engine Peterson’s is doing something similar. He builds an isolated observatory so that he can study the stars, then forges a deep connection with an Aboriginal girl that ultimately forces him to choose between duty and what’s right. I usually banish any mention of “sample chapter” freebies from the blog, but I figured in this one case (that of the desperate student) they might retain some usefulness on their own.
