The nearest Marine Corps League is in Coldwater, and St. Joseph County members are welcomed warmly by their Branch County brethren. Five Marine veterans met recently to talk about the proposed league, which would include any current or retired Fleet Marine Force Navy Corpsman. Previous efforts to form a Marine Corps League in St. Joseph County fell short. “We have a good rapport and a good history with the Branch County league, but we’d like to stay local and try to form a group of at least 20 people who are willing to meet monthly or at least be a part of our events in the community,” said... An organizational meeting to discuss the merits of forming a St. Joseph County chapter of Marine veterans is scheduled for 2 p. m. March 24 at Mendon Village Hall.

Check with your local VFW and American Legion posts. They usually have places that will be available free.

Will there be a Marine Corps Expo West at Camp Pendleton this year?

In 2005, the Marine Corps League co-sponsored the event at Club Camp Pendleton Staff NCO. The Expo features new products of interest to and used by the USMC. A similar event took place at Camp Lejuene, NC for Marine Corps Expo East.

More than likely there will be performances this year. Do not be afraid very afraid there is no support OUR Marines place more. It is not politically correct to defend your men serving under you in the Marines. Cut and run coward commanders today.

Foothills Marine Corps League uses donations to serve the ...

The local chapter has members that have not only served their country in the military, but are now serving the community through the donations they receive. s the goal of the Foothills Marine Corps League. Semper Fidelis, the motto for the United States Marine Corps, means &ldquo. We as Marines are proud of our service to our country and community and look forward to serving in the future. The donations the organization receives go straight back into the community, and with no overhead costs, all funds are used for charity work. We spend a lot of time doing things for other people but we feel that&rsquo. People don&rsquo. t give us money to spend it on ourselves,&rdquo. Among the activities the organization does are conducting up to 70 military last rites for veterans, visiting seniors centers and nursing homes, participating in color guards and parades, giving bicycles to kids and winter coats to those in need....
