for actions in iraq. I became suspicious of such a claim, not only because service members are quite humble who have actually recieved medals of such caliber, but because he showed up to class with a half-ass version of Marine woodland utilites. This

Marine to receive Bronze Star | marine, receive, 22nd - News ...

Warren, a machine gunner with Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 22nd MEU, is scheduled to receive a Bronze Star with a Combat Distinguishing Device, which is added for acts of valor, according to  information from 22nd MEU. Warren will receive the award for his actions while deployed with 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 7, 1st Marine Division (Fwd) in March 2010. According to his award, during combat action Warren led his squad of Marines through flooded fields and chest deep canals to retrieve a wounded Marine and gain fire superiority while aggressively pursuing the enemy. A Marine from the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit will receive high honors during a ceremony today for his actions while deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom....
