18 new members join American Legion Picard Post 234 Northborough – Since July 2011, 18 new members have joined the American Legion’s Vincent F. Picard Post 234.  Joining the Post are 10 Vietnam veterans, five Persian Gulf veterans, and one veteran from each of the following – Korean War, Lebanon/Granada and one WWII (Merchant Marines).  The war era breakdown is as follows: WWII – 37, Korean War-   57, Vietnam War – 112, Panama – 2, Lebanon/Granada –   13, and Persian Gulf – 20. The influx of these new members brings the war era Post #234 totals to 238.  A meat/lobster raffle is held each Saturday at 4 p. m.  .
