How to join Marines PLC?

I was wondering how to join the Marines PLC. I read a lot online about this and still do not quite understand. I talked to two recruiters and both gave me different answers.

I never served, but all the research I have done in my life on the subject, I know one recruiter is lying to you saying that you must be a member of the Reserve. He just wants you to call first so becomes a bonus to him.

I heard that when you become an officer for the marines through PLC you HAVE to be infantry officer?

its cause, I want to be Digital 2611 Cryptologic Network Technician / Analyst and I do not want to waste time by being presented as an infantry officer for about a year when I could do what I really want.

This is not true, PLC floor, law, and contracts for air. If you go into a contract floor, you could end up in the infantry, because while you put in your preferences for jobs, it is ultimately the body's needs.

Something where you can accept financial assistance for school without being active duty, and enter directly as an officer.

I mean we have NROTC, but Marine Options also use NROTC, so there isn't a Navy equivalent of PLC

And NROTC you're MUCH more active than PLC throughout your four years

Enlist or OCS? - Marine Corps Community for USMC Marine Veterans

The training for enlisted marines is quicker and I could enter the enlistment process immediately. I have wanted to become a Marine for some time and have decided that its time for me to get my act together. This makes me think I should enlist in the reserves to volunteer or transfer to a reserve unit that is going to deploy. 9) from USC and the 18:00 3 mile run, 100 sit ups, and 20 pull ups suggested for OCS is no sweat at all. I have done my research and am down to either enlisting in the reserves or applying to OCS. On the other hand as I said, I want to go over there before my time runs out. I want to be deployed and am searching for the best route to accomplish that. The next date for OCS is in June....
