“It’s one thing to be filmed parachuting out of a plane, but it’s another thing to be parachuting and land on the red carpet,” a defense official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told AFP. Filming began in 2007, before the Navy’s Sea, Air and Land Teams were catapulted to fame for their daring raid last May that killed Al-Qaeda mastermind Osama bin Laden. Although troops have appeared in movies before, such as “Black Hawk Down,” this film ventures into uncharted territory, possibly jeopardizing the anonymity that the special forces have sought to safeguard. US defense officials did not find out about the movie until after the fact, causing consternation at the Pentagon, which has an office that vets scripts and negotiates cooperation deals with Hollywood producers.Source: Outcome Magazine (blog)

Lets say its a big house full of gang members with guns, and the seal team is outside fully armed. What would the outcome be?
Is this a serious question? The SEALs would wipe the floor with the "gang bangers." You need to understand that SEALs are busting down doors of terrorists every day in Afghanistan.

Does joining the Navy SEALS grant you a class 3 gun license or the ability to own automatic weapons?
Enlisting in the military, doesn't give you any special rights as far as weapons ownership.
You have to obey all the same laws civilians do.

He has pleased not guilty to federal weapon and conspiracy charges that could get him decades in prison. He acknowledged conspiring with Bickle in the black market sale of untraceable assault weapons to an undercover federal agent for shipment to Mexico.
