Bizarre, Unexplained Marine Colonel 'Suicides' What the Hell's Going on?

The government says Colonel James Sabow committed 'suicide' in 1991 at Marine Corps Air Station El Toro. Exactly how Mr. Sabow managed to do this is something the government could never explain, however they did accept the matter as a 'suicide' without any argument. In fact the government was so troubled by this Marine Colonel's death, that they sent a special medical examiner to Orange County, California to conduct the autopsy. This was a highly unusual matter as the procedure is always handled locally, including when the clients are deceased Marines, but not in the case of Col Sabow. According to the official reports, this man who flew 220+ missions in Vietnam and was a proud father, husband and third Marine in charge of his base, shot himself in his own backyard when he was actually either dead, or near death. This would have had to have been an extremely technical 'suicide'.

Moving up ranks in the USMC Reserves?

Is it possible to become a noncommissioned officer in the USMC Reserve? Can you still climb the ladder while in the reserves?

Yes dude .. It's not that hard .. NCO starts to E-4 and you will automatically E-3 in the year when entering training camp.

As mentioned above .. it will take longer because you're a Marine Reserve.

IT DEPENDS ON HOW YOU DO THINGS... MY BROTHER WAS A SGT. BY THE TIME HE WAS DONE WITH HIS 4 YEARS. MY HUSBAND IS ON HIS 3RD YEAR AND HES ABOUT TO PICK UP SGT. AND A FRIEND OF OURS IS ABOUT TO FINISH HIS FOUR YEARS AND IS STILL A CORPORAL.

Marines have three different rank structures: Enlisted, Warrant Officer and Officer ranks. The lowest ranked officer outranks the highest ranked Warrant Officer. The same situation applies the lowest ranked WO to the highest rank enlisted. Officers have the highest ranks, followed by the Warrant Officers and then the Enlisted Marines.
