rest assured, the Marine Corps (including I MEF, 1st Marine Division and 1st Recon Bn) does not allow the use of &ldquo. s blog, shows personnel from 1st Recon Bn deployed in Afghanistan in September 2010 standing in front of an American flag and a black flag with the SS symbol resembling that seen on Nazi flags in World War II. The office of Col. Camp Pendleton-based Marines confirmed a controversial photo published online does in fact show a group of U. S. Marines posed in front of an &ldquo. The Marines in the photo are no longer with the unit which has been deployed again Guthrie said. John Guthrie, the Inspector General for I Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) first learned of the photo in November. A professor alerted Guthrie believing the existence of a photo like that would bring discredit on the Marine Corps.Source: NBC San Diego

Both have raids, direct action, reconnaissance, foreign water, air, and sometimes rescues. I think Recon no longer with water and reconstruction and the guards do more direct action and tillage fair.

If you are in the USMC in 0321 and the MOS or MarSoc / Force Recon (do not enter the MarSoc Force Recon vs. discussion) did you get promoted faster than other MOS? What would you say if you are qualified speakers of other languages?
No, but they have a chance to earn promotion points more.
IE: you get points for promotion to the schools they attend
IE: Airborne, HALO, dive school, etc.
2. But you must also have a slot to be promoted.

I have read "One Bullet Away" by Captain Nathaniel Fick, and while he didn't mention if he was training with just fellow infantry (he was an infantry officer before retiring), I was wondering if other Marines in other MOS's can 'try out' for
There is no restriction on what MOS can apply for Recon. However, it is difficult for a technical MOS to be approved since they have a lot of training invested in them and must be released from their MOS. Most intel should be able to apply.

So, I've said I've used these substances many times, and most of the time I use email, chat, texting, etc. Ok, so I know the rule on getting a TS Security Clearance (needed for recon, intel, etc) is that if you have used pot more than five times, you're out. My question is, if the people who decide who gets security clearances look in my email and phone records and see I've "done weed" many times, which I actually have not, will they But what if you have only used it twice, but have said you have done it more. I've actually only done it twice, when I was pressured into it. I'm a much stronger person now....
A look into what Marines have to do in order to become Recon Marines. I did not make this video, nor am I affiliated with Discovery or the United ...
